Karhan Companies LLC (doing business as Karhan Construction & Remodeling, “we,” “us”) operates karhancompanies.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you choose to share so we can respond about your project, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Information We Collect

Project inquiries. When you submit a contact form or use our project chat, we collect what you provide: name, email address, phone number, property location or neighborhood, and details about your project (scope, timeline, budget range, notes).
Chat transcripts. Conversations with our website chat assistant are saved so our team can follow up accurately and improve the assistant’s answers. A transcript includes the messages exchanged and anything you type into the chat — so please don’t enter sensitive information you wouldn’t put in an email. Transcripts are visible only to Karhan staff through a password-protected admin page, and are automatically deleted after 180 days.
Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate (city-level) location. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics) and do not build individual visitor profiles. To count how many distinct people use the chat, we store a one-way scrambled code derived from your connection rather than the connection details themselves. That code changes every day by design, so it cannot be used to identify you or follow you over time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Inquiry details are delivered to our team by email and stored in a secure, access-controlled database so we don’t lose track of your request. The service providers that process this data on our behalf are:

Vercel — website hosting and aggregate analytics
Neon — secure database hosting for inquiries
Resend — transactional email delivery to our team
Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on our forms (when active, it evaluates technical browser signals to distinguish people from bots)

Cookies

We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookie this site sets is a staff-only login session for our internal admin area, which is never set for regular visitors. Analytics are collected in aggregate without tracking cookies.

How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiry records for as long as they’re useful for serving you and for our business records. If you’d like your information removed, contact us using the details below and we’ll delete it.
